Windows apps
Partly builtSome of this works today; the page says which parts.
Windows programs can run through Wine on a sandbox's Linux desktop, and agents can drive them with computer use.
Status: 64-bit Wine is in the base image. 32-bit Windows programs need Wine's 32-bit libraries, which the image doesn't include. HareBox hasn't published a list of tested apps yet, so check that your program runs before relying on it.
harebox new --name win
harebox exec current -- wine --version
- Copy the installer into the sandbox with
harebox file write current --path /home/user/setup.exe --from setup.exe. - Open the desktop with
harebox desktop current, and runwine /home/user/setup.exefrom its terminal, or have an agent do it. - Save the result as a template with
harebox template save current --name legacy-app, and start a copy per task withharebox new --from legacy-app.
harebox record start current
harebox prompt current "Open the ledger app with wine, export last month's report as CSV to ~/out, then close it" --harness claude --budget 2
The recording keeps an MP4 of what the agent did, for review.
