Templates
Works locallyWorks in the local build today.
A template is a named, versioned starting point. Save a prepared sandbox, then start copies from it.
harebox new --name base
harebox exec current -- "echo ready > /home/user/setup-done"
harebox template save current --name web-stack
harebox new --from web-stack --name copy-1
harebox exec current -- cat /home/user/setup-done
Each save adds a version. web-stack means the latest, and web-stack@1 pins one.
harebox new --name share-src
harebox template save current --name shareable
harebox template share shareable --max-uses 5 --expires-seconds 86400
The response includes a code, shown once. The other account starts with harebox new --from CODE and pays for its own sandbox.
Saving removes your environment. It also flags well-known key formats in secret_warnings. Scanning can't catch everything, so keep secrets out of template sources.
Your plan includes saved templates: 10 for every $20 of plan per seat, so 10 on Build, 50 on Team, 250 on Scale and 1,000 on Fleet. Each version beyond that costs $0.056 a day from the wallet, whatever its size. You can't save new templates during the trial.
